AAITG is looking for consultant(s) to conduct an impact assessment of its child sponsorship programmes in LRPs 8,9 and 11. AAITG is looking for consultant or agency to conduct the impact evaluation in the three LRPs. 

Brief Description of the LRPs

LRP 8

The LRP 8, established in 2005 was the first to be established among the three LRPs. It covers the Niamina East and has two Apexes; Kudang Ward Development Association and Jarrend Apex Ward Development Organisation. The LRP comprised 48 villages , 30 in the Kudang Apex and 18 in the Jarreng Apex. The inhabitants are main Wollof, Mandinka, and Pularr speaking ethnic groups. They are predominantly farmers, into both crop and livestock production. 

LRP 9

This LRP situated in the Upper Nuimi District, North Bank Region was established in 2007. It comprises 3 ecozones, Hakalang Senelaa Kafoo, with 12 communities, Kerr Cherno and Jimbana Bolong Ecozones comprised 21 and 17 communities, respectively. Wollof, Mandinka, are Pularr are the main national languages spoken in these ecozones. The inhabitants are mainly farmers, however, there is a good number of fishing communities. 

LRP 11

LRP 11 is the last to be established among the three LRPs and was established in 2008. It comprises communities in the Niamina Dankunku and Niamina West Districts. This LRP comprised the Kawral Apex, with 26 communities and Yiriwa Apexes, which has 34 communities. Farmers (crop and livestock) are the main inhabitants of the LRP.
